About Marjo

"I sold my first painting
when I was 12 years old."

My grandfather was a watercolour artist. I learned to paint with his brushes, the same ones I still paint with today.

I spent 15 years building a career as an equine veterinarian. But life forced me to choose. I chose passion over what sounds impressive at a party, even if it felt like losing a part of my identity.

I chose what I had always been.
And it was the best decision of my life so far.

I'm beyond grateful I live a life I don't need vacation from, and my work hangs in private collections all around the world.

I never was the best in spoken language and I always used my art as a way to express myself. I hope it has the ability to speak and connect to you and evoke emotions that words alone can not.

I hope it can serve you as a visual representation of the journey we're on. And I hope it can inspire you for yours.
