From the day we are born we learn increasingly complex things. We learn to use our hands, horses get to know humans. We learn languages and maths, horses learn increasingly complex movements and skills.
This painting is a reminder to what we are: animals with primal instincts. We sometimes put them in negative daylight as basic and inhibitory, but they make us who we are, more than anything else I believe.
